Build game characters from anyone's parts.
Load a modular character pack from any vendor, in FBX, glTF or USD. Browse the parts, randomize, fit helmets over hair, and export. A Mac app for game developers.
Free · Pro adds batch generation and scripted export
Any vendor's parts
Nobody owns the format. A single pack on its own is the normal case, and it works well.
Randomize
Roll a new character from whatever parts are loaded, then lock the ones you like.
Helmets over any hair
Head attachments sit on the actual hairstyle, all the way round, not on a bald scalp.
Batch and automate
Generate hundreds of characters from text recipes, and script the export.
Most packs model helmets for a bald head.
Put one on a character with hair and the hair pokes through. Rigkin measures the hairstyle and opens the helmet just enough to sit on it, all the way round, keeping the helmet's height and design.
Hair through the helmet
The helmet sits where a bald scalp would be. Every hairstyle shows through it somewhere.
Helmet on the hair
The helmet opens to fit this hairstyle, and any strands still in the way are pressed in by millimeters. Skin weights carry over untouched.
Bring parts from anywhere.
Rigkin doesn't care who made your parts or how they arrived. Bodies, heads, hair and attachments all load the same way.
What most modular character packs ship. Rigged parts, blend shapes and all.
The open interchange format, and increasingly what newer packs use.
Native to the Mac, and what engines built on Model I/O read directly.
Export to the same formats. Each part keeps its rig, so a character goes straight into your engine.
Free to build. Pro to scale.
Everything you need to make a character is free. Pro is for studios making them by the hundred.
